The CANM8-CAN ALARM is an easy to install, multi-vehicle compatible upgrade alarm system, ideal for cars and light commercial vehicles. The CAN ALARM simplifies alarm installation by detecting many of the necessary vehicle signals direct from the CAN Bus.
The alarm detects the locking and unlocking of the vehicle by the original central locking remote key transmitter and securely arms and disarms respectively.
Door activity and ignition switch status are automaticaly detected and on some vehicles, the hazard warning lights flashing output (during an alarm condition) is also implemented via the CAN Bus.
