CANM8-K2M S&D (Nissan Skyline 350GT)

The CANM8-K2M CAN Bus converter provides a cost effective solution for converting the speedometer of Japanese Domestic Market vehicles that only have a KMH display to show an MPH reading on the existing speedometer face.

The interface reconfigures digital speed data supplied to the speedometer via the vehicle CAN Bus so that the speedometer needle points to the vehicle speed in MPH. The vehicle odometer will also increment in miles after the converter has been installed.

This converter will also remove the 112 MPH road speed limit that is inherent to all domestic market Japanese vehicles.

The CANM8-K2M converter is suitable for vehicles requiring an ESVA test.

The converter has 6 connections to be made at the rear of the vehicle speedometer assembly. The CANM8-K2M loom has pre-fitted bullet terminal connections on the CAN wiring and the product is supplied with terminals for connection to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring.

The remaining 2 connections required are to a permanent power supply and ground point. These connections should be made using soldered joints. Full installation instructions are supplied with the product.

• White & Blue = CAN HI & LO to the car loom.
  
• White & Green = CAN Hi & LO to the speedometer.
• Red = Permanent 12v+
• Black = 0v (Ground)
• Green = Not required with this installation.

A small adhesive black dot is supplied to place over the 'K' of the 'KM/H' symbol - leaving 'M/H' showing, which denotes 'Miles Per Hour' as the speedometer scale.
