CANM8-TALK2 (Citroen C4)

The CANM8-TALK2 interface is an innovative product that allows the Nokia CK-7W to be controlled via the existing steering wheel controls of the vehicle, without compomising the normal operation of the steering wheel audio controls.

The interface comprises of a 'Plug & Play' T-harness, that is installed to the vehicle audio loom and a power / control link loom connects the interface to the Bluetooth kit. The 12v ignition supply required to turn the CK7W on and off, is derived from the vehicle CAN system and the phone kit audio output is reproduced using the vehicle front speakers via the TALK2 internal muting system.

Operation

• Simply press the steering wheel audio mute button once to mute the audio as normal when required.
• During an incoming call, press the mute button once to answer the call or end a call.
• To access a voice tag, simply hold the mute button down for 2 seconds.
• To redial the last number called, double press the mute button.
• During calls, the audio will mute automatically and the conversation volume can be independently adjusted using the steering wheel volume control.
• The audio mute function is processed by the TALK2 interface and is never confused with phone operation.
  

TALK2 is currently compatible with all Citroen vehicles that feature the steering controls shown in the images.
