CANM8-TALK2 (Peugeot)

The CANM8-TALK2 interface is an innovative product that allows the Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth Hands Free system to be controlled via the existing steering wheel stalk control of the vehicle, without compomising the normal operation of the audio stalk control.

The interface comprises of a 'Plug & Play' T-harness, that is installed to the vehicle audio loom and a power / control link loom connects the interface to the Bluetooth kit. The 12v ignition supply required to turn the CK7W on and off, is derived from the vehicle CAN system and the phone kit audio output is reproduced using the vehicle front speakers via the TALK2 internal muting system.

As the Bluetooth hands free system is controlled using the existing steering wheel stalk control, the control receptacle that is supplied with the kit is not required. This preserves the original appearance of the vehicle dash and provides 'Factory Fit' style Bluetooth operation.

Operation

• Simply press the audio stalk control SRC button once to change audio source as normal when required.
• During an incoming call, press the SRC button once to answer the call or end a call.
• To access a voice tag, simply hold the SRC button down for 2 seconds.
• To redial the last number called, double press the SRC button.
• During calls, the audio will mute automatically and the conversation volume can be independently adjusted using the audio stalk volume control.
• The audio source function is processed by the TALK2 interface and is never confused with phone operation.

TALK2 is currently compatible with all Peugeot vehicles that feature CAN Bus audio control and the stalk controls shown in the images.
