CANM8-TR1X

Many Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot light commercial vehicles are fitted with an OE Tachometer as standard, as required by the GVW of the vehicle. On some vehicles, particularly those converted for Motorhome use, the Tachograph is an unneccessary annoyance.

Unfortunately, simply removing the Tachograph is not possible because the Tachograph also produces a speed signal for the Engine ECU and speedometer.

There is now a solution to this problem. The CANM8-TR1X controller allows the removal of the factory Tachometer unit from Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot vehicles while retaining the normal operation of the speedometer.

The CANM8-TR1X interface is directly installed to the wiring at the rear of the OE Tachograph, with only 5 wire to wire connections to make.

The compact dimensions of the interface allow it to be easily tucked away at the rear of the Tachograph apperture.

The TR1X interface is compatible with the vehicles listed below:
